MAC Underground Sells Out in 1 Hour

Only 1,000 hand-numbered editions of Extra Dimension Skinfinish were launched by MAC's new division, MAC Underground.


MAC Cosmetics, recently featured as our Beauty Company of the Year, has created MAC Underground – a “small-batch product innovation” division.

MAC Underground was created to quickly respond to trends with extremely limited launches, only available to MAC’s Loyalty Program members in the U.S.

The first MAC Underground product launched two days ago, and sold out in less than 1 hour — Extra Dimension Skinfinish.

The multidimensional, multichrome product contains “saturated prismatic pigments baked all the way through the powder,” the brand posted on Instagram, adding, “no makeshift oversprays here!” Only 1,000 pieces were made, and hand-numbered for authenticity. 

MAC’s Ashley Rudder, Global Director of Digtial Content & Artistry, shows the product in the video below along with model and actress Ke’Andra “Coco” Samone.

We can’t wait to see what’s next.
